While working on Travelport, I led the design team on the implementation of the web design system. The project moved the brand from ad hoc, one-off screens to a shared library of reusable components, patterns, and guidelines that every designer and developer could draw from. This gave the team a consistent visual language across the platform, cut design and QA time on new landing pages, and made handovers to development faster since engineers worked from documented, ready-to-build components instead of interpreting new mockups each time. It also gave the brand room to scale: new pages could be assembled from existing pieces rather than designed from scratch, freeing the team to focus on higher-value problems instead of repetitive UI work.
